We invited Belgian artist Pierre Berthet to create an installation for
V/J10 that explores the resonance of EVP voices. He made a netting of
thin metal wires which he suspended from the ceiling of the haunted
house in the La Bellone courtyard.

Through these metal wires, loudspeakers without membranes were connected
to a network of resonating cans. Sinus tones and radio recordings were transmitted through the speakers, making the metal wires vibrate
which, in their turn, caused the cans to resonate.}

We vroegen aan Belgisch kunstenaar Pierre Berthet om ter gelegenheid van
V/J10 een installatie te maken rond het resoneren van EVP{}-stemmen.
Hiertoe maakte hij een maaswerk van metalen draden, in de lucht
opgespannen in het spookhuis op de binnenplaats van la
Bellone.

Door middel van dit metalen draadwerk werden luidsprekers verbonden met
een netwerk van resonerende blikken. Sinustonen en radio-opnames
werden door de luidsprekers uitgezonden, wat de metalen draden deed
vibreren, en wat op haar beurt de blikken deed resoneren.}

Nous avons propos\'e au plasticien sonore belge Pierre Berthet
d'explorer le ph\'enom\`ene des voix \'electriques \`a travers une
installation con\c{c}ue pour V/J10, utilisant de fins fils de m\'etal
plac\'es en suspension dans la cour de la maison de La Bellone.

{G}r\`ace \`a  des fils en m\'etal, des haut{}-parleurs sans membranes sont
connect\'es \`a un r\'eseau de bidons r\'esonnants. Des ondes
sinuso\"idales et des enregistrements radio sont transmis aux
haut{}-parleurs. Ils font vibrer les fils en m\'etal qui, \`a leur
tour, font r\'esonner les bidons.}
