<p>Hej there,</p>
<p>I’m curious why the statement about cyr glyphs was added twice.<br />
I’ve spotted in a version of the license Alexandre IM-ed me,<br />
but thought it was a local A.P. to me copy/paste problem.</p>
<p>So would you mind removing this 2nd inclusion of ‘Cyrillic glyphs added by Valek Filippov (C) 2001-2005’?</p>

To add an element on that matter, we can consider this Wikipedia excerpt: <em>Kettler </em>[the font author]<em> was once quoted about how the name was chosen. The font was nearly released with the name “Messenger.” After giving it some thought, Kettler said, “A letter can be just an ordinary messenger, or it can be the courier, which radiates dignity, prestige, and stability.”</em>…</p>

please, could you explain why you switched from OFL to GPLv2 with font embed exception? I very interested in this, since, from what I understood, there are just these two licenses for FLOSS fonts.<br />
OT: OFL needs a to be bundles with software, when sold. Does someone knows why?<br />

<p>Sorry for our late reply. We first wanted to release the font under OFL but than realised that there was of course already a license applied (which is GPLv2). GPL is not compatible (yet?) with OFL, so we changed to keep with the original license.</p>
