bots, demons and ghosts. Dr. Konstantin Raudive, a Latvian
psychologist, and Swedish film producer Friedrich Jurgenson went a step
further and explored the territory of the Electric Voice phenomena.
Electronic voice phenomena (EVP) are speech or speech{}-like sounds
that can be heard on electronic devices that were not present at the
time the recording was made. Some believe these could be of paranormal
origin.

For this part of the V/J10 programme, we chose a metaphorical approach, working with bodiless entities and
hidden processes, finding inspiration in The Embassy of
Elgaland{}-Vargaland, semi{}-fictional kingdoms, consisting of all
Border Territories (Geographical, Mental \& Digital). These kingdoms
were founded by Leiff Elgren and CM Von Hausswolff. Elgren stated that:
\quotation{All dead people are inhabitants of the country
Elgaland{}-Vargaland, unless they stated that they did not want to be
an inhabitant}.}

een Letse psycholoog die les gaf aan de Zweedse universiteit van Uppsala
en Zweedse filmproducent Friedrich Jurgenson gingen een stuk verder en
onderzochten de territoria van EVP, Electronic voice phenomena. Dit
zijn fragmenten van spraak of spraak{}-achtige geluiden die je kan
horen via elektronische toestellen, geluiden die niet aanwezig waren op
het moment dat de opnames gemaakt werden. Sommigen geloven dat die een
paranormale oorsprong hebben.

Voor dit deel van het V/J10 programma, kozen we een metaforische benadering werkend met verborgen processen
waarbij we ons laten inspireren door de ambassade van Elgaland
Vargaland, een semi{}-fictief koninkrijk, dat alle grensterritoria
omvat (geografische, mentale en digitale grensterritoria). Het
koninkrijk werd opgericht door Leiff Elgren en CM Von Hausswolff. Leiff
Elgren zegt er over: \quotation{Alle doden zijn inwoners van het land Elgaland
Vargaland, behalve als ze verklaarden dat ze geen inwoner wilden
zijn}.}

appareils \'electroniques qui n'existaient pas \`a l'\'epoque \`a
laquelle l'enregistrement fut effectu\'e. Certains pensent que ce
ph\'enom\`ene a une origine paranormale. Pour cette partie de V/J10 nous nous servons de ce dernier pour
cr\'eer une m\'etaphore artistique. Celle-ci connecte des projets d'artistes
travaillant \`a partir d'entit\'es d\'esincarn\'ees et des processus
invisibles. Notre approche etait inspir\'ee par la tr\`es belle
m\'etaphore po\'etique de l'ambassade d' Elgaland Vargaland, un royaume
semi fictionnel, dont le territoire est la somme de toutes les
fronti\`eres (g\'eographiques, mentales et digitales). Ce royaume fut
fond\'e par Leiff Elgren et CM Von Hausswolff. Leiff Elgren dit que :
\quotation{Tous les morts sont des habitants du pays d'Elgaland Vargaland, \`a
moins qu'ils aient d\'eclar\'e ne pas vouloir en faire partie.}
