Pixel Waves

A Pure Data patch that interprets colours as sound

Usage
=====
Create the GEM window by clicking on create/destroy

Open an image.

Press the start/record button and adjust the rate at which pixels are read using the knob

The current column and line/X and Y data are displayed alongside the red, green and blue values of the current pixel.

As the colour values range from 0-1 scaling is necessary to make the audio audible. Use the knobs on the right to scale all colour channels or each one individually.

A .wav file is saved once you click on the stop/save button.

Requirements
============
Requires Pure Data Extended

It has been tested/developed with Pure Data Extended 0.43.4 on Ubuntu 14.04
